     Margaret Wait was born on 28 August 1817 at Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co, Vermont. She was the daughter of Ezra Wait and Hannah Kimmel. Margaret Wait married John J. Burton on 8 February 1838 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont; Alburgh Vital Records. Margaret Wait died on 24 December 1897 at Manchester, Hillsborough Co, New Hampshire, at age 80. She was buried at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, Hillsborough Co, New Hampshire.
