     Nellie Parrish was born on 4 May 1920.1,2,4,3 She married Roland Levi Hughes, son of Levi Jackson Hughes and Hepsy Delia Carter, on 6 February 1942 at Franklin Co, North Carolina; Snce Roland had just enlisted two days prior, they, like many others in the 1940's were married.3 Nellie Parrish married Roland Levi Hughes, son of Levi Jackson Hughes and Hepsy Delia Carter, on 2 February 1949 at Norfolk, Virginia; They both had been divorced once.1 Nellie Parrish died on 30 July 1997 at Augusta, Richmond, Georgia, at age 77.2,4 She was buried at Augusta, Richmond Co, Georgia.2
