Etta Morrison

     Etta Morrison was born on 22 October 1886 at Ellenburg Depot, Clinton Co, New York.² She was the daughter of Horace Morrison and Mary Ann Covey.¹ Etta Morrison married Cornelius Covey, son of Enos Covey and Rosanna McGee, on 6 October 1909 at Ellenburg, Clinton Co, New York; Cornelius Covey, age 38, from Franklin, Quebec and Etta Morrison, age 23 of Ellenburgh, New York.³ Etta Morrison died on 19 July 1960 at Ellenburg Depot, Clinton Co, New York, at age 73; Etta passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harold (Inez) Cole. Besides Inez, she was survived by two other daughters, Mrs, Flora Berneski, Amsterdam; and Miss June Covey,of Delanson; three sons, Russell, Ellenburg Depot; Carman of Madison and Owen, of Experience, and 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.² She was buried on 22 July 1960 at Sheldon Cemetery, Ellenburg, Clinton Co, New York; The funeral was held Friday afternoon at the Wesleyan Methodist Church at Ellenburg depot with rev. Robert Fiely officiating.
