Asa Holgate was born on 4 October 1741 at Topsfield, Essex co, Massachusetts. He married Martha Kathan on 22 July 1764; They were married by Samuel Stevens, Esquire, according to the Kathan Bible.1 Asa Holgate died on 11 April 1830 at age 88.
