     Martha Kathan was born on 8 May 1736 at Worcester, Worcester Co, Massachusetts.1 She married Asa Holgate on 22 July 1764; They were married by Samuel Stevens, Esquire, according to the Kathan Bible.2 Martha Kathan died in 1810 at Essex Co, Vermont.
