     Eliza Deveno was born on 30 August 1831 at Vermont.3,4 She has also be reported to have been born 31 August 1831 Burlington, Chittenden Co, Vermont.1 She was the daughter of Peter Deveno.1 Eliza Deveno married James William Tryon, son of William Tryon and Sarah Scott.5 Eliza Deveno died on 18 May 1913 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Manchester, Hillsborough Co, New Hampshire, at age 81; Eliza's death certificate states she died following a six month battle with cancer.
Eliza Tryon, 81, was survived by daughters, Mrs. Charles DeMouilpied of Manchester, Mrs. Jas. Gordon of Lowell and two sons, Wallace of Lowell and George W. of Manchester, as well as 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She had lived in Manchester, New Hampshire for 15 years, after leaving Lowell, Massachusetts.6,4,1 She was buried on 20 May 1913 at Edson Cemetery, Lowell, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts; She had died of cancer.6,4
     She appeared on the census of 21 April 1910 at Manchester, Hillsborough Co, New Hampshire; Eliza was aged 78, widowed, living with her daughter Nellie DeMoulfried's family. She had seven children, with only four then living.7
