     Silas Scott was born on 27 November 1901 at Burke, Franklin Co, New York.1,2,3 He was the son of Myron Gilbert Scott and Mary Ann Vincent.1 Silas Scott married Mildred Ruby Bean on 8 December 1924 at Albany, Orleans Co, Vermont.4,5 Silas Scott died on 19 November 1980 at Derby, Orleans Co, Vermont, at age 78; Silas Scott was 80 years old.6,7,3 He was buried on 22 November 1980 at Newport Center Cemetery, Newport, Orleans Co, Vermont.6
