Margaret Foyer Dean

     Margaret Foyer Dean was born on 19 March 1848 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of James Dean and Sarah Munday. Margaret Foyer Dean was baptized on 8 April 1849 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England.¹ She married Edwin Marshall Johnson, son of Samuel Johnson and Sarah Marshall, on 16 May 1868 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England; Edwin, 22, was a joiner, of Front Row, and his father, Samuel, was a glass blower. Margaret was 20, spinster, and living at Booth's Yard.² Margaret Foyer Dean married Joseph Drew Hutchinson, son of Jesse D. Hutchinson and Sarah L. Vinal, on 25 March 1880 at Cohasset, Norfolk Co, Massachusetts; The marriage record shows that it was first marriage for Joseph, s/o Jesse D. Hutchinson and Sarah Vinal, and 2nd marriage for Margaret Johnson, d/o James Dean and Sarah. He was a resident of Scituate, and she was living in Cohasset. They were married by Rev. Granville Yager.³ Margaret Foyer Dean died on 14 January 1910 at Cohasset, Norfolk Co, Massachusetts, at age 61; Margaret "Foy" Hutchinson died from carcinoma of the stomach at age 61 yrs, 8 mos, 19 days.⁴ She was buried at Centre Orthodox Cemetery, Scituate, Plymouth Co, Massachusetts.⁴
     She witnessed the marriage of John Hainsworth and Mary Ann Dean on 12 October 1873 at Holbeck, Yorkshire, England; John Hainsworth was a smith and his father John, was a grocer.⁵
