Nathan Benjamin was born on 30 May 1859 at Gardner's Creek, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.1 He was the son of William Henry Benjamin and Mary Elizabeth Wood. Nathan Benjamin married Alice M. Capson on 19 October 1894 at Saint John Co, New Brunswick; They married at the residence of William Love, 68 Waterloo St., Saint John, N. B. Alice was not yet 21.2,3 Nathan Benjamin married Catherine E. Jackson, daughter of John Jackson and Mary Ann Robertson, on 18 December 1895 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.4 Nathan Benjamin died on 23 October 1919 at Gardner's Creek, Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 60;

Funeral from his late residence at 2 o'clock on Saturday.5,6 He was buried on 25 October 1919 at Brown's Cemetery, Bain's Corner, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.6,5

The family was Presbyterian.7
