Stephen Meek was born on 19 September 1805 at Rawdon, Hants Co, Nova Scotia.1 He married Ann Kerr, daughter of James Kerr and Elizabeth Brown, circa 1830. Stephen Meek married Jerinda Greenough on 14 February 1863 at Windsor, Hants Co, Nova Scotia; He was a widower and she was a spinster.2 Stephen Meek died on 25 May 1873 at Hants Co, Nova Scotia, at age 67.1 He was buried at St Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Centre Rawdon, Hants Co, Nova Scotia.1
He appeared on the census of 1871 at Rawdon North, Hants Co, Nova Scotia; Stephen Meek, 65, Wesleyan Meth, Samuel, 36, and his family all Baptist, Clara E., 26, Bordman, 5,both born US, Annie, 4, b. NB, Stephen C., 11 mos, Roland, 20, Wes Methodist.3
