     George Howard was born circa 1841 at New Brunswick.1 A bond for the marriage of George Howard and Caroline Hepburn was signed in 1862 at Saint John Co, New Brunswick.2 George Howard died on 31 December 1912 at Woodstock, Carleton Co, New Brunswick.3
     He and Caroline Hepburn appeared on the census of 1881 at Woodstock, Carleton Co, New Brunswick; George Howard was aged 40, Irish, Baptist and Caroline, 45, Scottish. Son Charles A., was 16, and they also had an Elisa F. Daily, 14, Scottish, living with them. This may have been Florence Elizabeth Daley, born 1867, who married Amasa Thhornton at Woodstock.4,5
