Anna Maria Brust was born on 25 March 1753. She was the daughter of Johannes Jacob Brust and Anna Katherina Wolff. Anna Maria Brust was baptized on 6 May 1753 at Rhinebeck Lutheran, Rhinebeck, Dutchess Co, New York; Sponsors were Paulis Weger and Anna Maria Treber. She married Philip Derick, son of Coonradt Derick and Elisabetha Catherina Müller, circa 1773. Anna Maria Brust died on 10 January 1840 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 86.1 She was buried on 12 January 1840 at 3rd Concession Cemetery, Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1,2
Philip and his wife, Mary, were listed as guests of Enoch Salls on 8 Feb 1824 at Caldwell's Manor, with ages given as 77 and 71. If this is correct, it would have his birth as 1747, not 1753. However, Anna Maria's birthdate matches.3 Mary Brust wrote her will on 22 March 1827. She listed her daughters as "Annah Derick, wife of William Strothers, Elizabeth Derick, wife of Randle Bissell & Mary Derick, wife of John Dunbury" her clothes, linens and other moveable property. She left her son "Conrad Derick, Esquire, of the seigniory of Noyan" all immoveable property.4
