Charlotte Ellis was born on 17 May 1847 at Concord, Merrimack Co, New Hampshire. She married Alonzo Derick, son of William Derick and Melinda Hurlbut, on 11 March 1865 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Clarenceville Anglican Church. Charlotte Ellis died on 22 June 1893 at Glines Corners, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 46.1 She was buried at Union Cemetery, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2
