     Jane Salls was born circa 1845 at Brome, Brome Co, Quebec; Her death certificate lists she was born in Stanstead, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Abraham Salls Jr and Melinda McCoy. Jane Salls married George Chase Marston on 8 November 1873 at Nashua, Hillsborough Co, New Hampshire.2,3 Jane Salls died on 17 March 1887 at Leeds, Leeds Co, Ontario; Jennie was aged 42 years, and died of lung congestion after a duration of eight weeks.1
     She and George Chase Marston appeared on the census of 1881 at Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec; George Marston, 30, Jane, 36, Mary A., 6 and George, 1.4
