John Scott Jr. was born on 10 January 1822 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. He was the son of John Scott and Mary Tallman. John Scott Jr. was baptized on 17 August 1834 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He married Sarah Young, daughter of Johannes Young and Lydia Ann Covey, circa 1845. John Scott Jr. died on 13 December 1884 at Burke, Franklin Co, New York, at age 62.2 He was buried at North Burke Cemetery, N. Burke, Franklin Co, New York.2
