     Lydia Flagg was born on 12 March 1783 at Shoreham, Addison Co, Vermont.1 She was the daughter of Isaac Flagg and Abigail Baldwin. Lydia Flagg was born on 5 October 1783 at Worcester, Worcester Co, Massachusetts; Birth records appear in both Shoreham and Worcester. It is likely that she was born in Worceseor since they removed to Shoreham afterwards.2 She married Stephen Hix Salls, son of Hix Salls and Mary Briggs, before 1818; Stephen & Lydia were sponsors to the 1818 bapt of Stephen Salls Flagg. Lydia Flagg married David Sawyer on 14 January 1852 at St George's Anglican Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3 Lydia Flagg died on 21 October 1862 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 79.3 She was buried on 22 October 1862 at Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3
     She witnessed the birth of Stephen Salls Flagg on 31 May 1817 at Caldwell's Manor, (now Missisquoi Co), Quebec.4
