     Mary Ann Covey was born on 16 July 1850 at Hemmingford, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of John Young Covey and Roxana Hunter. Mary Ann Covey was baptized on 1 May 1855 at Russelltown Methodist Church, Russelltown, Huntingdon Co, Quebec, by Rev. Richard Wilson.2 She married Horace Morrison circa 1868. Mary Ann Covey married Thomas Atkinson on 2 July 1896 at Mooers Forks, Clinton Co, New York; Record #368, held at Mooers Forks, married by J.W. Hoyt.3 Mary Ann Covey died on 13 March 1920 at age 69; She was of Swanton, Franklin Co, VT in 1890.4
     She and Horace Morrison appeared on the census of 1880 at Mooers, Clinton Co, New York; Horace Morrison, 30, Mary A., 30, b, Canada; Florian, 10, b. Canada; Jessie E., 9, John, 5 and Charles, 2, all three born NY. Census shows Horace born Vermont, father born New Hampshire and mother born in Canada.5
