Uriah Smith was born on 11 August 1745 at Shrewsbury, Worcester Co, Massachusetts. He was the son of Zachariah Smith and Lydia Hastings. Uriah Smith married Lydia Keyes, daughter of John Keyes, in 1771; int. filed 30 aug 1771 Shrewsbury. Uriah Smith died on 4 March 1829 at Wilton, Hillsborough Co, New Hampshire, at age 83.
