Lydia Hastings was born on 26 November 1718 at Watertown, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Joseph Hastings and Lydia Brown. Lydia Hastings married Zachariah Smith, son of Zachariah Smith and Susanna Grout, on 19 October 1738.¹ Lydia Hastings died on 18 July 1796 at Shrewsbury, Worcester Co, Massachusetts, at age 77. She was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury, Worcester Co, Massachusetts.
