     Samuel Smith was born on 25 July 1757 at Shrewsbury, Worcester Co, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Zachariah Smith and Lydia Hastings. Samuel Smith married Abigail Pratt on 1 January 1778. Samuel Smith married Lydia Wesson on 20 April 1818. Samuel Smith died on 9 June 1841 at Shrewsbury, Worcester Co, Massachusetts, at age 83.2
