Elizabeth Starre was the daughter of John Starre. Elizabeth Starre married Nicholas Pinion, son of Nicholas Pinion, on 1 October 1639 at St Bartholomew, Burwash, Sussex Co, England. Elizabeth Starre died in 1667 at New Haven, New Haven Co, Connecticut.1
Elizabeth, the wife of Mr. Pinion, was indicted for adultery, which was then a capital offense. She was however, acquited of the graver charge; but the Court, 13 May 1648, sentenced her for swearing and lewd behavior, to "be sevearly whipt twise, first at Boston and then agayne at Lin, within one month after."2
