Nathaniel Hammond was born circa 1777 at Maine. He was the son of Zebedee Hammond and Martha Bennett. Nathaniel Hammond died after 1802 at New Brunswick.
Nathaniel Hammond enlisted 15 Jan 1794 in Captain Peter Clinch's Company with the King's New Brunswick Regiment [known early on as the New Brunswick Provincials]. The regiment was quartered mostly at Fredericton. Possibly, Nathaniel remained in the Fredericton area after the Regiment disbanded in 1802.
