     Alfred Toner was born on 12 July 1885 at Mispec, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.1 He was the son of Simon Toner and Alice Caroline Thomas.1,2 Alfred Toner married Melvina May Belding, daughter of Jesse Belding and Mary Belding, at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Melvina was aged 27 and Alfred was 24 at the time of marriage.3 Alfred Toner was buried in 1977 at Toner Cemetery, Mispec, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.2 He died in 1977.4
