Lucy C. Curtis was born on 16 July 1797 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. She was the daughter of Darius Curtis and Hannah Filer. Lucy C. Curtis married Benjamin Ernest Salls, son of Hix Salls and Mary Briggs, on 11 January 1818 at St George's Anglican Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.¹ Lucy C. Curtis died on 26 April 1837 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 39; St George's Anglican Church. She was buried on 28 April 1837 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; St George's Anglican Cemetery.
She witnessed the marriage of Samuel Durgin Welch and Elizabeth Wait on 5 April 1818 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; In 1838 the Welchs resided in Hinchenbrooke, PQ.¹
