Frances Smith married Edward Howard, son of John Howard and Lucy (?), before 1801 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick. Frances Smith died on 10 January 1802 at Quebec City, Quebec Co, Quebec, at age 33.2,1 She was buried on 13 January 1802 at Holy Trinity Church, Quebec, Quebec Co, Quebec;
