Lydia Lavina Hepburn died on 28 February 1905 at Somerville Hospital, Somerville, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts, at age 34; Lydia Lavina died from surgical shock while in the hospital. According to the death certificate, she had a "cyst of tube and ovary" for six years. I assume, she died following an operation to remove that cyst.1,2 She was buried on 2 March 1905 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Dorchester, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts.3
